Winter in Plumas County
It is time to get ready for the Big Mailing, that the Chamber offers for members.

Once again we will be partnering with Feather Publishing in producing an 8 page full newspaper size special section. The Chamber strongly believes in 'Shop Local' and feels that supporting our local publishing company is a priority in this category. This is how it will work:

Covert individual 8 1/2 X 11 sheets to quarter-page ads  (which is almost identical in actual size to one side of the flye r) that would be packaged into an 8-page full newspaper size special section. Some advertisers could buy two spaces

Print: Total distribution 9,450
Approx. 4,500 copies would be bulk mailed to every postal patron at the Portola, Graeagle/Blairsden and Clio post offices in late May, 2013, as it has in past years.

First Value added bonus
4,950 copies of the same special section will then be inserted into the  Portola Reporter and Feather River Bulletin  in Quincy in the following week’s edition.

Second Value added bonus: Internet exposure
Copies of this special section will also be posted on    plumasnews.com    and will remain online throughout the summer  .Plumas News average  over 10,000 unique visitors on their website with considerably more in the summer months.

Third Value added bonus:
The Chamber will post the 8-page special on our website home page for one full year!

Advertising spaces available
Front Page Would have 3 quarter-page spots in full color $285.00 -  Sold out
Back Page would have 4 quarter-page spots also in full color $285.00 - Sold Out
Price includes prime placement on the front or back page plus process color.
If  two members want to share a quarter page by creating two ads in that space the price is $155.00 each. Half page ad $520 full color

Inside Pages
Each inside page would have 4 quarter-page ads. Each ad will be in black ink with one additional spot color ( those colors selected by Feather Publishing, requests can be made but final decision is based on press color limitations )

$210.00 per ad/with one color
$390.00 for combining two spots with one color
If  two members want to share a quarter page by creating two ads in the space the price is $115.00 each with one color.

If members are sending artwork, logos, etc. Please be sure to send high resolution images,.
 
Feather Publishing will be responsible for designing the ads including necessary artwork from copy gathered and submitted by the Chamber at no additional charge. Proofs will be provided for each ad prior to publishing the section.

This great deal and marketing exposure will be first come first served basis, so contact us now to reserve your space, the deadline for your ads to the Chamber is  April 24 2013,  so that we can pass them to the Feather Publisher and agree proofs.
