About Us

Elko Diagnostic Imaging

Founded by Dr. Joanie Haid in 1992, Elko Diagnostic Imaging has offered superior outpatient imaging services at the center located at 1784 Browning Way. The partnership formed with Reno Diagnostic Centers in 2004 in Reno, NV has provided EDI with the latest in now 100% digital technology, with still the greatest personalized care. Over $3 million in recent capital improvements further enhance the quality of medical care available to the residents of Elko, such as: GE 1.5 HD Excite MRI (new October, 2005), GE Multi-Slice Spiral CT (new March, 2007), GE Fluoroscopy (new March, 2007), X-ray (new Fall 2008), Ultrasound, DXA - Bone Densitometry (new January, 2006), and our latest addition: Digital Mammography (new March 2009). State-of-the-art technologies such as P.E.T, Open MRI, Cardiac CT and stereo-tactic biopsies are also available at our Reno location to Elko residents. Area residents no longer need travel long distances for state-of-the-art digital medical care.

Elko Diagnostic Imaging is a full-service Outpatient Imaging Center. We offer MRI, CT, Xray, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound and DXA Bone Scanning at our center located at 1784 Browning Way, in Elko, NV. We offer same day or next day appointment capabilities in most cases, with no appointment necessary for X-ray services.
