Bring out the kids on Thursday October 23 from 5-6pm to Trick-or-Treat at Estherville Businesses! Get the costumes on one week earlier for some early candy and Halloween fun for the whole family! Emmet County Supervisors Meet the Candidates Join us as we meet the candidates running for Emmet County Supervisor. The Estherville Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an open forum with all 6 candidates currently running for the Board of Supervisors on Monday October 20th at 6:30pm at the Iowa Lakes Community College Auditorium.This is a great opportunity to learn more about each candidate before the big election in November! Fright Hike! Mark your calendars for Fright Hike 2014!! It is sure to be more frightful and terrifying than ever!!! Thanks to the great success of 2013 we were able to amp up this year's event! Dare to be scared on Halloween Night, Friday, October 31st from 7-10pm in Fort Defiance State Park! $5 per person - Proceeds benefit the Chamber and the Friends of Fort Defiance! 2015 BA5 Schedule BA5 slots for 2015 are filling up quickly.
