Business Trick or Treat!

Business Trick-or-Treat 2014!
Bring out the kids on Thursday October 23 from 5-6pm to Trick-or-Treat at Estherville Businesses! Get the costumes on one week earlier for some early candy and Halloween fun for the whole family! While the kids eat their candy take some time to walk around the businesses and do some fall shopping! It's never to early to scope out Christmas presents!

Emmet County Supervisors Meet the Candidates - TONIGHT

Join us as we meet the candidates running for Emmet County Supervisor.
The Estherville Area Chamber of Commerce along with KILR and the Estherville News will be hosting an open forum with all 6 candidates currently running for the Board of Supervisors on this evening, Monday, October 20th at 6:30pm at the Iowa Lakes Community College Auditorium.This is a great opportunity to learn more about each candidate before the big election in November!

Fright Hike!

Mark your calendars for Fright Hike 2014!!
It is sure to be more frightful and terrifying than ever!!! Thanks to the great success of 2013 we were able to amp up this year's event! Dare to be scared on Halloween Night, Friday, October 31st from 7-10pm in Fort Defiance State Park! $5 per person - Proceeds benefit the Chamber and the Friends of Fort Defiance!
If you are a volunteer please meet on Monday, October 27th at 5:30pm in Fort Defiance State Park to help!

2014 Estherville Halloween Association Activities

This year’s annual youth Halloween activities sponsored by the Estherville Halloween Association will be held on Saturday November 1st 2014 as follows:
PreK-2nd          At the Estherville Fire hall (Games and Fun) free hot dogs, juice, popcorn and candy provided 3p-5p
3rd and 4th      At the VFW (Games and Fun) free hot dogs, pop, popcorn and candy provided 3p-5p.
5th and 6th      Skateland  (Free Skating) free hotdogs and pop provided. 6p-9p
7th and 8th      Estherville Middle School (Free Dance) free pizza and pop provided. 7p-10p    
9th-12th   To be announced
