Are you interested in hosting a Business After 5 event in 2013? March, May, August, September and November are still available. Businesses are encouraged to co-host if you'd like and no matter if your business is big or small we'd love you to host.

Do you have old Christmas lights? The Estherville Rotary Club is collecting lights to recycle and help keep light strings out of the landfills. Drop your lights at Eyecare Centre, HyVee, Regional Wellness Center or the Estherville Daily News. They will accept very old strings of lights as well as new ones.

There's no need to remove bulbs - the recycling company will take them as they come. The Rotary plans to collect lights until the first week of January 2013.

The holidays are over so it’s a great time to think about getting healthy! The 2013 Lifestyle Challenge aims to help you improve your health and wellness through weight loss and exercise. Sponsored by Avera Holy Family Hospital and the Regional Wellness Center, the challenge is a 12-week program from January 11 to March 29, and participants are able to weigh in weekly at the RWC.

Registrations have been sent out for the 2013 Farm and Home Show, so if you were a vendor last year and didn't get a letter yet please give us a call! If you are interested in a booth and want to be put on a waiting list please contact us. The Farm and Home Show will be held on March 1-2 at the Regional Wellness Center. The early bird registration deadline is February 1!
