FOCC- NEW Honorary Dignitaries

If you missed last nights event, you missed out on a fun and informational night.

Last night we celebrated the announcement of the 41st Honorary Mayor and the announcement of our New Miss Fair Oaks  and Jr. Honorary Mayor.

During the event we honored our past Honorary Mayors and the people that ran against them.  (pictures to come soon)

Pictured on the left is Jimmy Larkin our New Jr. Honorary Mayor a student at Del Campo High School and a Fair Oaks resident. Jimmy was very involved with our summer concerts and helped out our Honorary Mayor candidates over the 10 weeks, so we got to see him in action. He  also is involved in FOYAB (Fair Oaks Youth Advisory Board) which is lead by Chelsea Adams of the Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District. We are so excited to see him grow over the year and what ideas he will have for our young adults and the youth in our area.

Pictured center is Jacob Giorgi our New Honorary Mayor and owner of House to Home Moving. He worked hard these past 6 months raising money for his charity Adopt an Elder which helps seniors with their monthly bills and incomes. The money he raised is also split with the Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce which helps us fund our scholarship programs, our events and projects. Jacob ran against Matthew Mason a newly graduated senior from Bella Vista High School. We are looking forward to having a new ambassador of our chamber and our community.

Pictured on the right is Sophie Bolinger our New Miss Fair Oaks a student at Bella Vista High School and resident of Gold River. Sophie also helped us over the summer at the concerts and with the Honorary Mayor candidates, she had a rough start at her first concert she showed up with a broken wrist and got stung by a bee but she plugged through and got involved. She is involved in AVID and in Cheer. She also started a young entrepreneur group at school. She started her own business at 11 years old "Sophie B Sweets" we all can't wait to try some of her treats.
