Amica Gives Arizona Drivers More Flexibility with Platinum Choice Auto Coverage
PHOENIX – Amica Insurance is now offering Arizona drivers its Platinum Choice auto package, a premier protection plan that includes accident forgiveness, enhanced car rental coverage, continuous identity fraud monitoring, new car replacement without depreciation, and full glass replacement with no deductible, all in one discounted package. Arizona, with a long-established pro-consumer environment, is the first state where Amica is making the Platinum Choice auto package available to car owners.
A central feature of the Platinum Choice package is its accident forgiveness plan, called Good Driving Rewards. With accident forgiveness, Amica drivers can save money by reducing or eliminating the cost of a deductible or by waiving an accident surcharge. They can do this simply by applying Amica Advantage points, which they accumulate for each year of accident-free driving, owning other Amica policies and in other ways. There’s no waiting period for using Advantage points. Points never expire and give the customer the flexibility to choose how to redeem them to save money.
The identities of Platinum Choice owners are protected with Identity Fraud Monitoring. Their personal credit activities are continuously monitored at all three major credit bureaus: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. If any unusual activities are detected, the policyholder is alerted within 24 hours and has unlimited access to the services of a fraud specialist to resolve any resulting problems.

A driver with the Platinum Choice auto package also has Prestige Rental coverage, which puts no daily limit on the rental price of a comparable vehicle if his or her car is in an accident. The package also includes New Car Replacement coverage, which provides a new car of the same or comparable make and model to a policyholder whose new car is totaled or stolen in its first year. No depreciation or mileage limits are applied to the value of the replacement car. The Platinum Choice plan’s Full Glass coverage provides new windshields and door windows without any deductible costs to the policyowner.
Any of the coverages in the Platinum Choice auto plan can also be obtained separately. When the full Platinum Choice suite is purchased, its cost is reduced with a package discount.
