About Kiwanis Club of Glendale

We serve our community one child at a time through various programs and with various partners: We support Hope for Hunger Food Bank, The Salvation Army, Heart for the City, OCJ Kids foster programs, the Boys and Girls Club, Glendale Elementary School District, Kamp Kiwanis, The Kiwanis International Children’s Fund, The Apollo HS Community Base Classroom, Apollo HS Angel Tree and others. We sponsor The Apollo HS and Ironwood HS Key Clubs. The Kiwanis club of Glendale was chartered January 28, 1972. Our members come from diverse backgrounds and occupations, but we all have the same interest in helping children thrive in today’s world. We are hands-on and participate together to show children that we care about them. Our mission is to help children reach their full potential by providing goods and services towards their well-being and providing opportunities to excel academically and to learn leadership skills. We welcome you to join our club and be a part of our mission and have fun also.
