Celebrate Diversity At The Cesar Chavez Breakfast

Several elected official and business leaders from the West Valley communities will participate. Luis Ibarra, President and CEO of the Friendly House, a community based organization serving the Valley is the Keynote speaker.

During the breakfast, the César Chávez Diversity Award will be presented to an individual or organization in recognition of their outstanding community leadership and diversity. Past recipients have included Dr. Kino Flores, Councilman Manny Martinez, Mas Inoshita, City Manager Ed Beasley and others. Proceeds of the event benefit the César E. Chávez Foundation provide grants for K-12 schools and organizations promoting tolerance and diversity in the community and for scholarships to high school students pursuing a college education.

The mission of the Glendale Chamber Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 organization, is to provide business and educational opportunities to support and celebrate diversity in the community. Join us in celebrating the life, legacy and leadership of César E. Chávez.


Tickets for the breakfast are $30 per person or $250 per table and may be purchased from the Glendale Chamber of Commerce. The event is open to the general public.
