Scholarship Tournament Raises Money For School Districts

Two teams came in with a score of 59, 13 under par. One represented Accurate Auto Glass. They were Jeff Hull, Eric Hamilton, Kevin McGraw and Mark Hess. The other team was from Treasures Jewelers which included Scott Bohall, Keith Foulke, Derek Adickman and Brian Allen. Next there were two teams shooting an 11 under par 61. From M & I Bank there was Jim Vogt, Steve Hayes, Matt Madison and Jeff Beach. The other team with a 61 was made up of Harry Shapiro, Lex Sheets, Jeff Bootz and Tom Smith. The closest to the pin winners were Erick Carter, Philip Gicalone, Jim Wiedmann and Derek Adickman

On course contests were sponsored by Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort. Team prizes were sponsored by Max’s Sports Restaurant, The Tuscan Oven, The Legend at Arrowhead and the Glendale Chamber of Commerce. Drawing prizes and goodie bag items were donated by the Glendale Chamber of Commerce, APS, Glendale Glass, Heart for the City, Deer Valley Education Foundation, Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery, Eye Styles Optical, Credit Union West, Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, Arizona Self Storage, CarLife Auto Repair and Yvonne Knaack State Farm.
The next golf tournament scheduled will be the Luke Shoot Out on March 11, 2011 at Falcon Dunes. Mark your calendars now.
