GLENDALE CHAMBER'S PRSIDENT TO RETIRE, ORGANIZATION MOVES TO NEW OFFICES

The organization recently sold its office building at 7105 North 59th Ave, which, according to Rinehart, was “Key to a long term strategy we had to give the Chamber financial stability for years to come.”  The organization has leased a 4,100 square foot office suite in the City of Glendale-owned Bank of America building just one half block east of the existing Chamber building.  “We were faced with putting money back into an aging facility that really did not work for us anymore.   It actually made more sense to sell the building.  This new office is a much bigger and upgraded facility, and we will be able to lease out “incubator-type” offices for professionals, meeting rooms and a small conference space.  The best part is that we were able to do this at a very affordable cost”.  The Chamber has signed a 10 year commitment for the new offices and hopes to open in that location on in early June.

Rinehart says he has no immediate plans for retirement, other than to travel a little, play more golf and just relax for a few months.  However, he said he has been approached to run for public office or work in the private sector on business development projects and that he may consider those options in the future.

The Chamber will begin a search for Rinehart’s replacement in June and plans to have a new President in place by November 1.
