T.R.M. Disposal...COME SEE THEIR DISPLAY!

Sarah and Mike Rosenberger started T.R.M. Disposal L.L.C. four years ago when they realized the Indianola community no longer had a family-owned trash service provider, which provides an alternative to the larger trash haulers in the area.   Mike worked for McCoy Sanitation and really enjoyed the work so when McCoy Sanitation closed, it was an easy transition for him.  The couple realized that they just needed a truck and someone to run it.  Since Mike had the knowledge to operate the truck and Sarah the background in accounting and office management, they worked together to create a thriving business.

Both Mike and Sarah have a strong sense of community and believe having a local, family owned option is important to Indianola and Warren County.  T.R.M. Disposal has purple and gold and pink garbage receptacles in support of two things important to them:  the Indianola community and breast cancer awareness.

Sarah and Mike believe that Indianola has a strong support system for local businesses, that support system gave them the confidence to start their business in this area. On their first day of business, T.R.M. Disposal had 24 customers and ran one day per week. Now, four years later, their business has grown to almost 2,000 customers, employees five full-time people, and operates five days a week. They service the Indianola, Milo, Lacona, Spring Hill and rural Warren County area.
With their business taking off, T.R.M. Disposal implemented rural recycling, a home-pick up recycling service. They are very proud to be the first business to offer this service in the area.

T.R.M Disposal prides themselves on customer service and believes it’s important to leave a residence cleaner than it was before they got there. They strive to provide customer service unlike any other. As a local business, they want to keep their community nice and clean.

A fun perk of being serviced by T.R.M. Disposal is the opportunity to pick a colored trash receptacle that supports the Indianola community or breast cancer awareness. It’s a creative way to make garbage disposal fun and colorful. Now, when driving through town on trash pick-up day, it’s not uncommon to see those purple and gold or pink receptacles throughout town.

As one of the Chamber’s “Spotlight” businesses this month, be sure to stop by the office to peek at T.R.M. Disposal’s receptacle options.  It’s clear that Sarah and Mike take pride in this community and work hard to keep it clean.  T.R.M. will be moving into a new, permanent location after the first of the year.   Contact Sarah or Mike at T.R.M. Disposal by calling 515-962-2014 to discuss your garbage removal needs today!
