Des Moines Metro Opera is proud of their broadcast partnership with Iowa Public Radio and they have hit the air! "Arias in April" began on April 3, 2015 with programs at 7:00 p.m. on Saturdays and 10:00 p.m. on Sundays. Relive the sounds of the Des Moines Metro Opera's 2014 Summer Festival Season on Iowa Public Radio, including intermission interviews, and features with cast members, creators and even composers! Des Moines Metro Opera gratefully acknowledges the generosity of Craig and Kimberly Shadur who helped make these broadcasts possible. Support is also provided by the musicians of the Des Moines Metro Opera Festival Orchestra.

The Small to Big Business Forum is an annual roundtable, round-robin networking event designed to put you in touch with area businesses.

These sessions are designed with simplicity in mind.  No elaborate costumes, just your tiny dancer in simple, sweet movements that capture their personality and love for dance. 

When: Saturday, April 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
Who: ancers age 3-18
What: 15 minute session of your dancer in simple attire twirling leaping and being themselves. An online gallery to view, share, and order prints. And your choice of one digital file with release. 
Cost: $35 per child

This is a fundraising event for Indianola Dance Academy to help curb some of the costs of the recital expenses. It is open to any dancer regardless of studio affiliation. 100% of the session fee goes directly to IDA.
