Small Business Development Workshop
Take your Business to the Next Level The Indianola Chamber is hosting a workshop for member businesses interested in advancing their business in the marketplace. We have 4 openings available on June 11, 2015, 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Chamber office. Plan to meet with Christina Moffatt, Regional Director, of the Mid Iowa Small Business Development Center, which provides services free of charge through collaborative efforts coordinated by Iowa State University. Plan to learn about techniques, opportunities, and resources that will help make your business a success!

Des Moines Metro Opera Summer Discount Program
Offer a Discount to our Summer Guests Last Call!
Each year, members of the Indianola Chamber of Commerce welcome performers of the Des Moines Metro Opera to our community. We have guests from all over the world call Indianola home for the summer.
This year, we plan to utilize the Chamber's free Mobile App and online classified ads system to offer discounts to our specials guests, opening the program to more members who enjoy serving our summer guests.
A survey to determine Chamber member participation in the DMMO program was sent out last week. We have had great participation. This is last call!

Warren County Farm Tour - A Must Attend Event
Life on the Farm is Fascinating Warren County is rich with an interesting and robust agricultural economy. Have you ever seen an organic worm casting farm or visited a horse ranch with a riding stable?
Take the Warren County Farm Tour to enjoy the bounty of nature and the hospitality of 9 niche farms! Each farm showcases their unique style, products and produce. Taste and nibble on specialty foods at locations throughout the tour, pick your own berries and purchase homemade fruit pies, goat milk soaps, local jams and jellies and other locally made products.
Take a leisurlely stroll (car ride) to any or all of the farms on the tour and enjoy the sites, scenes and sounds of some of Warren County's greatest treasures.
The 2015 Warren County Farm Tour is August 30, 2015, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are sponsorship opportunities available ranging from $50 to $750 if you can help! The form is attached.

Indianola National Balloon Museum Governor Terry Brandstad has proclaimed June 8-14, 2015 as Iowa Museum Week. In honor of this celebration, the Indianola National Balloon Museam will offer free regular admission to the public.

Parks Tour & Wine Tasting
Hosted by Warren County Conservation Warren Country Conservation is hosting a Parks Tour & Wine Tasting on July 12, 2015. The Park tour will be held from 1-3 p.m. Hop on a bus at the Annett Nature Center for a guided tour of three different Warren County Conservation Board Parkd before bringing you back to the Annette Nature Center for the wine tasting. The wine tasting will be held from 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.. There will be appetizers and music to listen to while enjoying free wine samples. The tasting is provided by Annelise Winery, LaVida Loca Winery and Summerset Winery.
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED! Reservations can be made at warrenccb.org/parktourandwine or by calling 515-961-619. Prepayment is required and participants must be at least 21 years of age. The cost is $10/person.
