American Picker is On the Hunt

Looking for Interesting Characters and Unique Items

American Pickers will be in Iowa in July looking for leads throughout the state.  They are looking for interesting characters and unique items for them to showcase on their television show, which airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. CST on History.

American Pickers is a documentary series that explores the fascinating world of antique "picking" on History.  This show follows two of the most skilled pickers in the business, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz.

Mike and Frank are only interested in private collections so no stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses or anything open to the public.  But, I am certain we all have unusual or vintage items we might like to barter to sell.  They are looking  for things like vintage bicycles, toys, unusual radios, movie memorabilia, music equipment, automotive items, folk art, clothing, early firefighting equipment, and pre-50's western gear.

If you have something of interest, email your name, number, address, photos and description of collection to americanpickers@cineflix.com or call 855-old-rust.

If you haven't seen the show, tune in sometime.  It's fun, entertaining, and interesting!
