The Pickard Sports Complex Tournaments Kicks-Off New Season

Sports Tourism Makes a Big Economic Impact




Sports Tourism can make a big economic impact on our community! Thousands of players and their families visit Indianola all year round.
 
This weekend, March 24th & 25th is the kick-off  of the 2018 softball and baseball tournament season at The Pickard Sports Complex. Tournaments are scheduled for nearly every weekend through October, with more than 100,000 players and their families traveling here from all over Iowa, other states, and even Canada. 
 
 Roll-out the red carpet for our guests and help them navigate their way around Indianola!

Registration for iYP Putt Putt & Pints Now Open

The Putt Putt and Pints event offers participants a unique golfing experience at local establishments and will help raise funds for a local charity.  A portion of the proceeds raised will be presented to the Indianola Community School District "Feed the Kids" food program.

Teams of four will be awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for their overall score. Awards for the “Best Dressed” team and door prizes are also up for grabs.

Team registration is $100.
