Indianola Chamber Office Closed July 18 - 20 to Professional Development

The Indianola Chamber office will be closed July 18-20 while staff attends the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives Annual Conference in Des Moines. With over 3,500 Chamber executives attending from around the country, this is an excellent professional development opportunity!

Voters in Warren County will be asked to vote on August 7, 2018, on a $29.9 million bond referendum to construct a Law Enforcement Center and Courthouse on the Indianola downtown square. Absentee and Early Voting Is Now Available 
Cast your vote Now! Early voting is available at the Auditor's Office in the Warren County Administration Building. Here are a few things you should know:
- The office is open from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- You must vote your absentee ballot at the auditor's office. You cannot take the ballot home with you.
- You may request an absentee ballot to be mailed to your home.
- Your find your polling location for the August 7 vote here.

On June 26, 2018, Chamber and community members joined Jon Peterson, his family and staff to tour the remodeled Peterson Funeral Home, 306 W. Salem, Indianola.

Mercy Emergency Medical Services air and ground units play an integral role in assisting the Indianola Fire and Police Departments in protecting our community.
The crew will land, show the aircraft and answer questions from the public. This is an opportunity to see the life saving procedures performed by the flight crew en route to the hospital when time is of the essence.

Come share in the FUN (food, music, inflatables, games, ice cream, and birthday cake!), but also be there to share memories from the past 5 years.
ALL are welcome for this free event. It's drop-in style, so stop by whenever you are able. The Y will be open all day (10:00 a,m. - 5:00 p.m.) to the community so it is a great time to visit!

THE 2018 WAYNE CARSE MEMORIAL ATHLETIC BENEFIT
17th Annual Storm Golf Classic

The Storm Golf Classic is an 18-hole golf scramble for teams of four players held at the Indianola Country Club.
The athletic benefit continues after golf with the Campus Gala at Simpson College. Evening festivities include a social hour, dinner, and silent and live auctions. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Simpson
College Athletic Department, its 19 intercollegiate sports programs and its 500+ student-athletes. Your participation and support are greatly appreciated.
