2014 Warren County Career Fair
 
I am happy to announce that registration is now open for the 2014 Warren County Career Fair hosted by IowaWORKS, We-Lift, Carlisle Chamber of Commerce , Indianola Chamber of Commerce, Norwalk Chamber of Commerce, and the Warren County Economic Development Corporation. 
 
Given the need in our community to fill jobs, we partnered together to bring this opportunity to businesses and job seekers alike.  We are anticipating high demand for booths at this FREE career fair,  so please register early in order to guarantee a spot for your company, by contacting either Ted or Kirstin via e-mail.

HELPING BUSINESS CUSTOMERS IN A BIG WAY

About this scholarship program:
This program is designed to help us help Iowa business owners with funding their entrepreneurial and financial literacy training.  With a grant awarded by the State of Iowa, the Iowa Bankers Assciation (IBA) is offering its member banks the opportuntiy to apply for this scholarship on behalf of business owners in their community.

I just wanted to take this chance to thank each and everyone of you for being such a great supporter of the Indianola Chamber of Commerce, and of me personally over the past 9 years.

I would like to let you know that I have submitted my resignation to our Chamber Board of Directors. It was a difficult decision, but a decision that I am very comfortable with.  Over the past years, our Chamber has seen many changes and we have grown to a membership of over 300.  It is always great to have numbers but what is included in those numbers is much more important. Our membership has the highest caliber of volunteers and leadership.  

We placed an ad in the Record Herald and Indianola Tribune this past week.  We will be accepting resumes at the office until Friday, June 6.  At that time, the Board will evaluate the submissions and schedule interviews.  If you know of someone who would be a great fit for the Chamber, please encourage them to submit their resume at 104 N. Howard Street.

Again, thank you all for being wonderful Ambassadors of Indianola, the Indianoa Chamber of Commerce and your businesses.
