With a grant awarded by the State of Iowa, the Iowa Bankers Assciation (IBA) is offering its member banks the opportuntiy to apply for this scholarship on behalf of business owners in their community. I just wanted to take this chance to thank each and everyone of you for being such a great supporter of the Indianola Chamber of Commerce, and of me personally over the past 9 years. I would like to let you know that I have submitted my resignation to our Chamber Board of Directors. It was a difficult decision, but a decision that I am very comfortable with. Over the past years, our Chamber has seen many changes and we have grown to a membership of over 300. It is always great to have numbers but what is included in those numbers is much more important. Our membership has the highest caliber of volunteers and leadership. We placed an ad in the Record Herald and Indianola Tribune this past week. We will be accepting resumes at the office until Friday, June 6. At that time, the Board will evaluate the submissions and schedule interviews. If you know of someone who would be a great fit for the Chamber, please encourage them to submit their resume at 104 N. Howard Street.
