Defining Statement
Roots Deep in Scouting's Past –Building Toward the Future
The origins of the San Gabriel Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America date to shortly after the founding of Scouting in America in 1910. Some of our troops were chartered and have been in continuous service since that time. The council was officially organized in 1919, and has since served over one million youth in the area.
