November Luncheon

The Antelope Valley Chambers of Commerce were delighted to have Jeff Prang, the Los Angeles County Assessor as well as the SFOA AV Coalition as guest speakers at our November luncheon. Both groups shared an extensive amount of useful information. We always look forward to networking and showcasing businesses at our luncheons.

Luncheon registrations are always posted on our calendar page: avchambers.org/calendar.

We hope to see you at the next one!

One behalf of myself and the Antelope Valley Chambers of Commerce, we wish you a Merry Christmas, a wonderful holiday season, and a truly prosperous New Year.  I give thanks to God that through His Grace we are here to enjoy this special time together with our family and friends. 2022 is almost here and with it new opportunities for economic growth, community collaboration and personal achievement. Now is the time to make those changes, to bring a renewed positive outlook to everything we think, say and do.  Collectively we can make the Antelope Valley a better place to live, work and inspire others to be their best.  And together we shall all prosper.  May God continue to bless you and your family. Happy Holidays!

A Message from Mark Hemstreet: Chamber CEO

The Holiday season is here and before you know it, the new year will be upon us. On December 4th we held our annual Holiday Parade – A North Pole Party, and it was a picture perfect day. The temps were cool, but the sun felt great on our faces. With over a hundred entries and thousands of people lined up on the sidewalks, the parade was a true success! I hope you and your family were able to join us and enjoy our parade!

I believe 2022 will be another challenging year, it certainly won’t be business as usual. Staffing and supply issues will remain a challenge and coupled with rising costs, we will need to rethink and evolve to provide the best possible service and products to our customers. The Chamber is constantly developing new programs and avenues to help improve your bottom line and promote your organization. We will be taking a strong stand against more government regulations and higher fees/taxes. I’m proud to be a part of the Antelope Valley business community. We have shown how resilient we are to maintain our businesses through any challenges thrown at us. Join us as we focus on solutions to rise above and make 2022 a banner year. I believe now is a good time to start developing new goals for the new year.
