Leadville’s Annual Parade of Lights is hoping to Bring Back Christmas!!

The parade begins promptly at 5:30 p.m.  Entrants are requested to arrive between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m. for line-up along the south side of W. 9th St.
  Santa Clause will be grand marshal for the Annual Parade of Lights and will visit with the children of Lake County following the Parade of Lights at the Lake County Courthouse. There will be hot cocoa and cookies for all thanks to the generosity of Peoples National Bank and Safeway. This year, thanks to Aardvark Technologies and Leadville Ski Country, Santa will be providing a gift for the children.
There will be Christmas Karaoke at the Lake County Courthouse provided by Singer’s Choice and the Best Dressed Harrison Avenue window will receive the traveling prize for your business until the Annual Parade of Lights 2013. The public is asked to vote for their favorite decorated business. The ballot box will be on the porch of the Leadville/Lake County Chamber of Commerce from the Friday after Thanksgiving until December 14, 2012. The trophy will be presented to the winning business on December 15th.
