About Us

Alzheimer's Disease is at epidemic levels with over 600 families in Los Alamos affected. The 2009 Los Alamos Memory Walk is September 12 at the Betty Ehart Center at 8:00 am. There will be a timed 5K run, a kid's fun run, A memorial flag tribute, silent auction, basket raffles and of course our walk to end Alzheimer's.


The Alzheimer's support group meets the third Tuesday of each month at the Christian Church located at 92 East Road here in Los Alamos. Our meetings start at 6:00 pm and generally run until 7:30. Anyone is welcome to attend. If you are giving care to a dementia or Alzheimer's victim, please come and join us.

The Alzheimer's Cafe is a friendly,safe afternoon gathering of Alzheimer's victims, family and care-givers. It is held the 4th Thursday of each month from 2:00-4:00pm at the White Rock Baptist Church located at 80 State Rd 4. Join us for an afternoon of music, and fun.
