About Us
Dr. Montessori's educational method provides a child-centered environment carefully designed to meet the learning styles/needs of children. "Never let children risk failure until they have a reasonable chance of success."(MM)
PMSI provides three environments: Transitional Early Childhood(2-3 yrs), two Early Childhood (2.5-6), and Elementary (K-3). Each classroom is lead by a Certified Montessori teacher.
PMSI is an AMS (American Montessori Society) affiliate school licensed by NM Children, Youth, & Family Department and recognized by the State of New Mexico Department of Education.
PMSI is the home of NCME/NM, a national Montessori teacher certification training center. NCME/NM is MACTE (Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education)accredited and an AMS (American Montessori Society) affiliate. More information can be found on our website.
