This weekend ... Next Big Idea Festival

Next Big Idea Festival is Saturday Sep. 17 11-3 in downtown Los Alamos - kick-off is free Ryan McGarvey concert Friday night at 7.

Please recommend this family friendly festival of science, invention, innovation, and discovery. Ursonate: Sound Installation Painting by Jack Ox

 New exhibition in the Mesa Public Library Art Gallery of an intermedia work in conjunction with the Next Big Idea Festival: a visualization of a primal sound sonata by 1930s multimedia artist Kurt Schwitters. The painting comprises 800 square feet. Public reception Friday, September 16 4:00-5:45. Exhibit lasts until October 27.

Ursonate is an intermedia work on exhibit at the Mesa Public Library Art Gallery in conjunction with the Next Big Idea Festival: a visualization of a primal sound sonata by 1930s multimedia artist Kurt Schwitters.

Fresh blues and rock to kick off the Next Big Idea Festival. Ryan McGarvey, a fast rising 23 year old blues rock guitarist won the 2010 Ernie Ball 'Play Crossroads' contest earning him a berth at the 2010 Eric Clapton Crossroads Guitar Festival.
