DIGITAL SIGN ADVERTISING

The Marion Chamber of Commerce makes its electronic outdoor sign available for rent to Chamber members. Ads can be up to 2 lines of text with the typical line containing about 18 characters (including spaces). Ads will be displayed twice for 15 seconds each on a 5 minute loop. We allow for a maximum of 10 ads, which means each ad is live on the board 576 times every day and approximately 17,520 times per month. The sign runs 24/7 so your message gets maximum exposure.

MARION COMMUNITY PROFILE BOOK

This book is used for economic development. It lists twelve vital areas of our community that a potential new business, organization or resident would be interested in. Only Chamber members are allowed to advertise in this book. The current Marion Profile Book is available here and copies are available at the Chamber office.

MEMBER DISCOUNTS

When you are a member of the Marion Chamber of Commerce, you have access to many discounts provided by other Chamber members. Discounts may include radio and newspaper coupons, insurance discounts (commercial and personal), mobile telephone discounts, banking incentives and more! These discounts often cover the cost of membership! To submit your member-to-member discount, go to the Coupon Editor in your Member Management System. MEMBER EBLAST

The Marion Chamber of Commerce is happy to send promotional eBlasts on behalf of members as a member benefit for $50. Slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. A company may only request a Member eBlast once a month.

MEMBERSHIP MAILING LABELS

To assist members with their own direct mailings, our mailing list is available on labels to our members for $35 per printed set or free for electronic versions. We do not provide our e-mail list for distribution.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

The Marion Chamber of Commerce is happy to promote members on the homepage of the Chamber’s Web site in the Member Spotlight section for $250. Note that one Member Spotlight is featured a month. Slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. A company may only request a Member Spotlight once a year. The following months are available for purchase: February, April, July, August, October, and November.

MOBILE APP

The Marion Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with Chamber Nation to provide its members with Mobile Apps. The Official Mobile App has been created to help individual communities of businesses complete online. It helps assure the organization focused on economic development can easily maintain a formalized mobile presence for their communities. Business owners within that community want to be sure that they are part of the Official Mobile App which is showcased on Apple iTunes for iPhone/iPads, Google Play Marketplace for Android devices, and HTML 5 app for Windows, Blackberry, Symbian and new Firefox OS phones. MONTHLY LUNCHEON SPONSORSHIP

The Marion Chamber of Commerce is happy to offer to members the sponsorship opportunity at the Monthly Membership Luncheons, held on the second Tuesday of each month (except for January) for $100. Each Monthly Luncheon will have only one sponsor, and that sponsor is entitled to: a logo in the luncheon invitation, opportunity to speak for one minute at the luncheon, and a table set up by the registration table at the luncheon. The opportunity is limited to one Monthly Luncheon Sponsorship per business per year.

NETWORK

Marion Chamber of Commerce has invested in a state-of-the-art community wide economic development infrastructure. This provides a SINGLE network that can host all of the businesses within the community. Members can now be connected to the official Area Search Engine for the community, and the official mobile application while leveraging the significant prospect traffic coming into the organization's network. RACKS FOR MEMBER INFORMATION

Rack space is available for members to display their business brochures and business cards for visitors to our office.

REFERRALS

The Chamber staff responds to the hundreds of inquires received by our office each year by giving lists of appropriate members. Members ONLY are referred as business leads.

RIBBON CUTTING

All businesses and organizations in good standing with the Marion Chamber of Commerce can schedule a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the Chamber free of charge. The Chamber will attend and promote the event, encourage city officials, members of the Chamber and its Board of Directors, and media to attend, and supply the ribbon and scissors for the event. A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony is the perfect way to celebrate your new business, new location, business remodel/renovation, new management/ownership, new products/services and more.
