Marion Chamber launches new site, mobile app

 
To get started, simply locate the login link at the top of the Marion Chamber of Commerce Web site. From here you may use the lost password function to get started if you don’t already have your username and password. Then, simply request setup through Chamber Nation. Chamber Nation will create a Traffic Catcher System for your business/organization. You can review/update this Traffic Catcher System prior to its launch and make changes/updates throughout the life of your membership with the Marion Chamber. Once your Traffic Catcher System is set up, you are able to make changes, post events, unveil and make changes to your new Mobile App, view your traffic counts and more. 
 
The next step is to load deals. The system offers a rather advanced electronic special offer and coupon publishing program to every participating member. This allows members to create offers that immediately post onto the Marion Chamber website, mobile applications, member traffic catcher website, member directory, etc. 
 
In addition, members can submit a DAILY DEAL from the same module for approval. DAILY DEALS are fantastic offers that are electronically broadcast to every Daily Deal Subscriber in the community. You can also add this service to your current website and social networks. Then, whenever you update your deals it will update every site in your network all at once.

The third step is to load displays. Your new DisplayedRight© system and mobile display app is actually a perfect combination of intelligent simplicity and powerful full blown computer, tablet and mobile advertising for your business or organization. This incorporates the most important information about your business along with a CLICK-TO-CALL button top and center on the app. Additionally, when visitors learn all about your business through this interactive mobile app they can then choose to view all of your ad displays. 
 
To be sure we succeed in our mission to place our entire community online, the Marion Chamber has recently launched two new mobile applications for both the Google Android and the Apple iPhone operating systems. These apps are updated automatically by the Marion Chamber staff and members, who login to update their ad networks. 
 
The Membership Management System incorporates rather robust tools for the Marion Chamber to extend their member services onto the mobile device. Once members download the iPhone, Android or access the HTML5 version of the mobile application for the Marion Chamber of Commerce, members are able to manage various areas of their local advertising system. These updates are immediately sent to the Marion Chamber of Commerce website, member directory profiles, area search engines and other community mobile applications that may be interconnected. 
 
When logged into the app as a member level user you will find the following features:
  • Membership Card may be displayed from the App to participating businesses, offering special member discounts
  • Members may view / edit their chamber profile
  • Members may view / edit their Displayed Right TCS page through their mobile device
  • Members may create / edit their coupons with the phone camera imaging option. They may extend this to the Chamber Daily Deals system if they so choose
  • Members may use their mobile device to post coupons to Facebook and the Chamber Social Network once configured through their computer connection for the first time
  • Members can submit a topic to the Chamber Social Network, trade ideas and more through the Live Community Stream
  • Members can submit Press Releases
  • Members can identify the businesses they do business within the community
  • Members can view and post classified ads or job postings from mobile device
  • Additional features will continue to be added to this app.

  • Member Directory with instant add to cell phone's address book, instant forward, calling and mapping
  • Community event calendar with email reminder

  • Contact information with auto dial from mobile devices
  • Chamber Search Engine integrated into Calendar and Directory modules
  • View Classified Ads or Job Board Postings for Community
  • And much more!
