This week's Member Spotlight is: The Lighthouse Shelter

"The Lighthouse Shelter for the homeless in Marion, Illinois is a faith based organization dedicated to promoting the general welfare of the homeless in Southern Illinois."

Established in January of 2007 by Ivan and Wanda Zwick, they have served over 6500 individuals in the 12 years that they have been opened. A lot of their success is due to the community stepping in and helping out. They try to keep around 50 volunteers. Each month a different group comes to the shelter and prepares meals.

They are currently in need of paper goods (plates, cups, paper towels, bowls), any monetary donations would be greatly appreciated, and a fax machine.
