This Week's Member Spotlight

It's Wednesday! Today's Member Spotlight is on theMarion Ministerial Alliance.

The Marion Ministerial Alliance opened their doors in the early 80s. The alliance began with just a handful of local pastors. In the late 90s, they moved to their current location on Calvert Street and have been a member of the chamber for 14 years. They currently have a rotation of 12 congregations that come in and cook as well as having 42 volunteers that operate the food pantry.

The Marion Ministerial Alliance is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 1 pm. Every day, they serve a hot meal from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. On Tuesday, their pantry is open from 8:30 am - 11:30 am. Emergency financial assistance and a monthly furniture package giveaway are two of their most in demand programs. They are currently in need of monetary donations in order to continue helping those in need of emergency financial assistance.
