- The Marion Chamber is in need of your business’ goodies to distribute to all of our new voting members. Do you have cups, koozies, stress balls, coupons, fun trinkets, etc. that you would like to be presented to all new voting members at the Chamber in their new member gift bag? During each New Member Quarterly Luncheon, members of the Marion Chamber of Commerce Membership Committee meet with new members from the past quarter to go over their new member packets and give them a gift bag filled with goodies from our members to welcome them to the Chamber. There are many benefits to being a Marion Chamber of Commerce member! Did you know the benefits include:
- If any Marion Chamber of Commerce member would like to have fliers for an upcoming event, announcements, etc. placed at each attendee's seat at the luncheon, please contact the Chamber at 618.997.6311 to arrange for delivery of the fliers prior to the luncheon. Distributing fliers / business cards/ etc. at the Monthly Membership Lunches is free and a part of your Marion Chamber of Commerce Membership!
- As a member, you have access to many discounts provided by other Chamber members. Discounts include radio and newspaper coupons, insurance discounts (commercial and personal), mobile telephone discounts, banking incentives and more! These discounts often cover the cost of membership! Member-to-Member Discounts are located here.
- Rack space is available for you to display your business brochures and business cards for visitors to our office.
- To assist members with their own direct mailings, our mailing list is available on labels to our members for $35 per printed set or free for electronic versions. We do not provide our e-mail list for distribution.

Ike Family Dealerships named 2015 Marion Chamber Business/Industry of the Year
The Marion Chamber of Commerce has announced that the 2015 Business/Industry of the Year is Ike Family Dealerships.
The Ike Family of Dealerships was founded by Edward “Ike” Eigenrauch more than 50 years ago. Ike began selling cars in 1964.
The Honda and Volkswagen dealerships are owned by Ike’s three children: Lori Eigenrauch Sisulak, Brian Eigenrauch, and Jason Eigenrauch. Lori is the dealer principal for both the Honda and Volkswagen stores and is one of only a small number of female dealers in the country. Lori, Jason and Brian all work together to oversee operations at both stores.
“Being the recipient of an award like this is about much more than our family,” Jason said. “We have an amazing team of employees at both our Honda and VW stores. Some of our employees have been with us 30 years! Their dedication to our family is one of the main reasons for our success.”
The Ike Family of Dealerships is family-owned and operated. The Ike Family spans three generations with more than 125 years of combined automotive experience. They have been serving customers in Southern Illinois for almost 40 years.

The Marion Chamber of Commerce cordially invites you to attend our 95th Annual Auction & Awards Banquet on Friday, January 15, 2016 at The Pavilion.
Seventeen area Chambers of Commerce along with several regional businesses have teamed up this holiday season in an effort to encourage Southern Illinoisans to do a majority of their holiday shopping in the region, rather than traveling out of the area or shopping online.
Unemployment rates in Illinois fell in 12 metro areas, increased in one and remained the same in one.
The Marion Chamber of Commerce Marketing Committee has decided to lower the cost of the Digital Sign Advertising on the outdoor digital sign by 50% through December 31, 2015.

Roll N Up Smoke Shop & Liquor hosted a Business After Hours program on Wednesday, November 18 from 5-8 p.m., featuring appetizers, wine samplings and discounts for Chamber members. The event was held at 2701 West DeYoung in Marion.
Every quarter the Marion Chamber of Commerce Membership Committee holds a New Member Quarterly Luncheon. This quarter’s New Member Quarterly Luncheon was held at Asian Bistro on November 17 at noon.
Over 95% of companies in Illinois will be closed for the holidays on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, according to the most recent Illinois Chamber Annual Holiday Survey. The results are now available for 2016.
The Marion Chamber of Commerce Monthly Membership Luncheon was held on Tuesday, November 10 at noon at Kokopelli.
A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held on Thursday, November 5 at 4:30 p.m. at Massage on Call and Nuzum Education Center for Well Being at 1301 Enterprise Way, Suite 36, in Marion.
