The Salon Professional Academy Declares War on Hunger
The Salon Professional Academy in Melbourne Square Mall has declared “War on Hunger” and has partnered with The Children’s Hunger Project to help feed kids at risk of hunger.  Owner Kristen Kohl has outlined a program in which the public can help address the hunger problem.

On Sunday, September 27, the academy will have special fundraising efforts to help support feeding hungry children.  According to Ms. Kohl, “For just a $10 donation anyone can proudly show their support with an orange “thumbie” as we put orange nail polish on your thumb.  For $150 you can sponsor a child and make sure they get a package of food each weekend during the entire school year.”

Donors will be invited to share a “selfie” on social media with their “orange thumbie” while showing their charitable act for hunger awareness.  100% of all funds raised will go directly to food that will be distributed by The Children’s Hunger Project. The Salon Professional Academy in the Melbourne Mall is a 10,000 sq. ft. Cosmetology school that is certified by Redken.  Learn more about The Salon Professional Academy - Melbourne www.tspamelbourne.com
