Rib Eating Challenge for a Cause - June 14th 6-8PM
Let's cheer on our local heroes as they "Battle It Out" all in the name of charity! It's the Satellite Beach Fire Department versus the Melbourne Police Department in a Rib Eating Relay at Texas Roadhouse. Texas Roadhouse will donate $500 to the winning team's charity of choice. Jersey Mike's Raises over $26,000 for the Children's Hunger Project
Jersey Mike's Subs in Brevard County raised $26,205.91 on their Day of Giving for the Children's Hunger Project. Each year, the last Wednesday in March is designated as the Day of Giving and every Jersey Mike's Subs in the United States donates 100% of all sales to a local charity. We are proud to raise money for The Children's Hunger to help feed hungry children in Brevard County. Thank you to everyone who purchased food on March 30th and helped to raise money for this great local charity!

Business Voice Political Committee Announces Endorsements
After extensive research and interview process, Business Voice Political Committee Board of Directors voted this month to support several candidates in upcoming political races. The Business Voice endorses Rita Pritchett, Andrea Young and Kristine Isnardi in their bids to serve on the Brevard County Commission for Districts 1, 3 and 5, respectively.
The Business Voice Political Committee has also weighed in on two of the more high profile legislative races taking place on the Space Coast this year. The Board of Directors voted to endorse State Representative Ritch Workman in his bid to move up to the Florida Senate, as well as Brian Hodgers, a small business owner who is running in House District 52, the seat that Workman has represented since 2008 and is vacating due to term limits.
The committee also voted this month to support Tom Goodson and Rene Plasencia, two experienced legislators running in new districts this year of the Florida House. In addition, Tina Descovich is endorsed in her bid to serve as District 3 representative on the Brevard County School Board.
