First Friday July 1 in Eau Gallie Arts District
Kick off your long Independence Day weekend on Friday night, July 1, in the Eau Gallie Arts District at First Friday in July. First Fridays run from 5:30-8:30 pm and always includes beer, food, and vendors. Stroll historic Highland Avenue to enjoy special art gallery exhibits, specialty shops and restaurants. This event is free and open to the public.

In July, classic big band and jazz musicians will be filling the night air with patriotic music and great food options are available along with beer and wine. An ATM will be on site along with an Uncle Sam stiltwalker. Sanctuary Island Inc. Announces 2017 Date For Charity Golf Tournament
Sanctuary Island, Inc. announces its annual golf tournament to benefit wounded veterans and children facing adversity to be held on April 29, 2017 at The Savannah’s Golf Course on Merritt Island. 

Starting at 1 pm and using a shot gun format golfers can enjoy a day of raising funds for the injured military to ride horses at the Walk On Water Therapeutic Horse Back Riding Program.
After playing 18 holes the participants will be honored during a awards buffet that will feature an Italian menu.


Also, the event supports children’s character building and literacy parties which include the Patrick Air Force Base Chief’s Christmas get together every December.
