Local businesses and Nonprofits Sought for Boo at the Zoo Treat Stations
October is just a few months away, and the ghouls and goblins at Brevard Zoo are fastidiously preparing for this year’s Boo at the Zoo. Featuring live entertainment, nightly costume contests, the “Boo Choo” train ride and a tween-friendly haunted house, this family-oriented Halloween event attracted about 14,000 guests across nine nights in 2015.
The organizers are seeking local businesses and community organizations to sponsor treat stations. Sponsorships, which include all the candy needed to distribute to guests, are now available. Sponsors can choose to participate for one, two or all three weekends.

This year’s event runs October 14-16, 21-23 and 28-30 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Sundays. Interested parties should contact Stagman at cstagman@brevardzoo.org or 321-254-9453, ext. 485. More information about sponsorships and the event itself is available at www.brevardzoo.org/special-events/boo-at-the-zoo
