Launch Federal Credit Union offers free home buying seminar
Launch Federal Credit Union is offering a free Home Buying seminar on Tuesday, April 18 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. It is being held at the Palm Bay Branch of Launch FCU located at 5225 Babcock Street NE in Palm Bay.
Mortgage topics include what types of mortgages are available, how to apply for a mortgage and what happens at the closing. There will also be a question and answer session. Those who are interested in gaining information about how to apply for a first or second mortgage, refinancing their current mortgage, or obtaining a home equity line of credit are encouraged to attend. You do not need to be a member of Launch FCU to attend.

Elite Airways announces new Bimini/Caribbean nonstop jet service from Orlando Melbourne International Airport (MLB)

Elite Airways LLC today announced the introduction of nonstop jet service to the island of Bimini starting at $99 each way. Beginning on April 27, Elite Airways will operate two flights per day on Thursdays and Sundays between Orlando Melbourne International Airport (MLB) and South Bimini Airport (BIM). The new route offers east-central Florida residents with a convenient alternative to driving or flying to south Florida or the gulf coast to catch a flight to Bimini. Party for the Planet returning to Brevard Zoo
As part of ongoing efforts to connect the community with nature, Brevard Zoo is hosting its annual Party for the Planet on Saturday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“This year, we’re focusing on nature play, which is all about getting families outside and exploring the world,” said Andrea Aubert, the Zoo’s education programs manager.
Blue Life, Brevard County Natural Resources, the City of Satellite Beach, Recycle Brevard and Sea Turtle Preservation Society will be present with hands-on nature play and science activities. Other festivities include face painting and music from a DJ.
All activities are included with Zoo admission. The event is presented by the Zoo’s corporate partners.
