Whittaker Cooper Financial Group adds Senior Tax Accountant
 Ryan A. Dailey, CPA, has joined the staff of Whittaker Cooper Financial Group as a Senior Tax Accountant. In this role, he will assist clients with tax planning as well as income and sales tax audits. Experienced with merger and acquisition planning, Mr. Dailey will also prepare and review complex consolidated and multistate tax returns and train staff as needed on tax law changes. He is a graduate of the Fisher School of Accounting, where he received a Master's degree in Accounting, with a specialization in tax. A National Guard officer candidate, Ryan will receive his commission as a Lieutenant in August 2018. The father of two boys enjoys surfing in his spare time. VNA Receives Highest Overall Rating
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) just announced their third quarter Home Health Compare ratings, and the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) achieved high star ratings in both quality of patient care and patient satisfaction. The non-profit home health agency achieved 5 stars in patient satisfaction and 4.5 stars in quality of patient care, giving VNA the highest overall rating of all home healthcare agencies in both Brevard and Indian River.

Discounted admission returns to Brevard Zoo in September
Savings are coming to Brevard Zoo this fall. From September 4 to 30, admission to the Zoo is just $5 on Tuesdays and 50% off on Sundays. This promotion is open to Florida residents only and may not be combined with any other discounts. All adults must present a state-issued photo ID or utility bill with address and matching photo ID.

Dale Sorensen Real Estate agent Eva McMillan closes $2 million listing
Dale Sorensen Real Estate (DSRE) is pleased to announce that multi-million-dollar Top-Producing sales agent Eva McMillan recently completed the closing on a listing in which she represented both the buyer and the seller. The beautiful oceanfront property, at 745 Beach Street in Satellite Beach, Florida, listed for $2 million, was put on the market in February with a contract on it in April. Closing was held off while the sellers built a new home in Viera. McMillan represented her customers in that transaction as well.

Axiom Bank, N.A. promotes Scott Amatuccio to Vice President, SBA Manager
Axiom Bank, N.A., a community bank headquartered in Central Florida, recently promoted Scott Amatuccio to Vice President, SBA Manager. In his new role, he will oversee all Small Business Administration (SBA) loans from the initial review to underwriting an approved loan and monitoring the portfolio for its duration.
“Scott has been an integral part of building our commercial lending division, and his extensive knowledge of SBA helped Axiom Bank receive our preferred lender status in July,” said Daniel Davis, President and CEO of Axiom Bank. “I’m confident Scott’s leadership will continue strengthening Axiom Bank’s commercial assets.”
Prior to the promotion, Amatuccio was responsible for generating and managing the bank’s commercial relationships in the Tampa Bay area. Before joining Axiom Bank in March 2017, he provided leadership to SBA underwriters across a five-state footprint for a regional bank.
Amatuccio received his bachelor’s degree from State University of New York at Oneonta and his MBA from Chatham University in Pittsburgh.
Cop for a Day: AFTAC Airmen learn role of base Security Forces
Tech. Sgt. Scott Buske, a spectral analysis section chief with the 21st Surveillance Squadron, Air Force Technical Applications Center, Patrick AFB, Fla., takes aim at a virtual active shooter using VirTra, a 300-degree wrap-around simulator used by members of the 45th Security Forces Squadron.
