76 GrayRobinson Attorneys Listed Among Florida Super Lawyers 

Congratulations to John Kancilia and Erik Shuman, who have been named Super Lawyers out of the Melbourne office of GrayRobinson. 

GrayRobinson, P.A., announced that Super Lawyers has named 58 attorneys as “Florida Super Lawyers” and another 18 as “Rising Stars.” Super Lawyers are considered the top attorneys in the state with a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Rising Stars are the up-and-coming attorneys in the state who are 40 years old and under and have been practicing for 10 years or less.

Only up to five percent of lawyers in the state of Florida can be recognized as Super Lawyers, while less than three percent are named Rising Stars. Both Super Lawyers and Rising Stars are selected based on a patented selection process, which includes nominations by clients or firm, extensive research on the candidates and peer reviews.

Space Coast Economic Development Commission Membership Reception

The Space Coast Economic Development Commission is holding its Membership Reception on Wednesday, June 25 from 5:00 to 7:30 pm.  The event will be held at Exploration Tower at Port Canaveral, 670 Nesbit Drive, Cape Canaveral. The cost is $35.00 per person. 

Keynote speakers include Allan Lockheed, Jr. of Allan Lockheed & Associates with John Walsh, CEO, Canaveral Port Authority and JB Kump, Chairman, Titusville Chamber of Commerce.

The Supply Zone for Teachers Stocks For A New Year
Back to School Giveaway Event Set for August 2

While students kick off their summer vacation, the Brevard Schools Foundation’s Supply Zone for Teachers is stocking up for its first school year.
 
The Supply Zone is now accepting donated school supplies from companies, churches, organizations and individuals, as well as monetary donations used to purchase supplies.  In addition to donations, the Supply Zone is seeking community and business partners to hold school supply drives and serve as drop-off locations for donations.
 
The store meets the need of the highest percentage of students eligible for the free and reduced price lunch program. Many households cannot afford to purchase adequate school supplies for the students in the household. This responsibility then falls upon the teachers to fund the needed supplies for their classrooms. The Brevard Schools Foundation’s Supply Zone for Teachers helps teachers fill this need during the school year.
 
The Foundation also holds an annual Back to School Giveaway Event for families in need that will take place for the first time ever at the new Supply Zone on August 2, 2014, instead of Brevard Zoo.  The Supply Zone is located at 1225 Clearlake Road in Cocoa.   Families must register for the giveaway event between June 10 and July 11.  Only students who were eligible for free or reduced lunch during the 2013-14 school year are eligible.  The number to call for registering for free school supplies is 633-1000 ext. 474 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
