The workshop will give teachers and history enthusiasts a chance to tour sites that are not accessible to the public. Teachers are given first priority, but the general public is also invited. This event is the oldest continuously occuring arts and crafts event in Monroe County. Approximately 100 booths filled with Arts and Crafts of all types will be displayed and sold along the railroad track of this typical "turn-of-the-century Southern Railroad Town. Attendees can tour Peterman's restored train depot, the early restored and authentically furnished settler cabin complete with outhouse, or the old country store museum. Visitors can feast on Brunswick Stew, collard greens and cornbread along with a variety of other foods.
