Starting January 14th and ending March 1st, you will be able to play and finish this interactive game inspired by Candy Land but designed by us (your favorite librarians) to help everyone see ALL that we have to offer here at the Balsam Lake Public Library!

Also, there are AMAZING you should keep reading.

It can be played with a group, individually, or with the whole family! When you complete activities, your player moves spaces (on our big game board here at the library) and each activity completed receives ONE raffle ticket to put into one of 3 fabulous prize baskets with the themes of Games, DIY Dinner, and Cozy. When you complete the game, you will receive FIVE additional raffle tickets to put into ANY baskets (as a bonus for finishing the game)!

Winners will be drawn and contacted the last day of the program on March 1st.

Please check out our Facebook page to see pictures of the game instructions, game activities, and all the goodies we've put in each raffle basket!

***For more details and to sign-up for FREE, stop by the library and/or ask us all about it next time you're in!

We're making button bouquets! This new crafting sensation is so cute AND they have become popular to the point of people using them as "flower" bouquets in their weddings!

What's their purpose? They may be given as gifts, as decor in rooms, or even on your desk at work!

Norma Rasmussen, a local crafter, will be leading us through how to create these adorable bouquets.

All materials will be provided. We just ask that you give us a call at 715-485-3215 or message us on Facebook to reserve your supplies.

We hope you will join us :)
