Missouri CCW - Conceal Carry Permit Class

Missouri CCW – Conceal Carry Class

Description: The CCW course is designed for people who wish to obtain their concealed firearms permit.  The course goes over basic handgun safety and range rules, proper firing techniques, Missouri laws pertaining to concealed carry and live-fire at the range. The morning session of the class will take place in the classroom. Live-fire at the range will be conducted in the afternoon. Students are required to fire 20 practice rounds and 20 qualification rounds from both a revolver and semi-automatic.

The range is located outdoors, so dress accordingly for the weather. 

Certificates are issued upon successful completion of the course.

Length of course: 8 hours. (8:00 am - 5:30 pm)

What you will need: For those that have your own firearm, bring your unloaded and cased pistol and a minimum of 100 rounds of factory ammunition. If you have a gun you intend to use for personal defense, we recommend you bring this gun for the course.

30 minutes will be provided for lunch. Students may choose to eat local restaurant or bring a sack lunch.

Hearing and eye protection will be provided.

There is no live ammunition allowed in the classroom at any time.

Please leave in your vehicle until the afternoon shooting section of the course.

Cost: Cost of the course is $99.

The goal of this womens only handgun course is to give you the knowledge and skills to build on in our follow up courses. We want to build your foundation around the basics that most people bypass completely. The very most important thing when it comes to the handling of any firearm, is safety.

Savor The Flavors at Rockwood Summit High School

20 local restaurants will prepare samples from their menus.  There will be a silent action, basket raffles, a 50/50 raffle and many other activities.  Proceeds from this event will benefit the Rockwood Summit Class of 2016 Senior Slam, a drug and alcohol-free, all night celebration and lock-in at the high school immediately following graduation.
