1.  January 13 - Money Matters - learn how to create a budget, track spending.
2.  January 20 - Check It Out - learn about opening a checking account, the importance     of managing a checking account and using a debit card safely.
3.  January 27 - Pay Yourself First - Learning the importance of saving and how to save even if you don't feel like you have money to save.
4.  February 3 - To Your Credit - Learn how to use a credit card safely, the importance of paying off your credit card and eliminating debt as well as improve your credit score.

Workshops are presented by Leah Eckstein, Family Living Educator at Adams County UW-Extension. 

All sessions are free and everyone is welcome to attend.  Participants who complete all four of the workshops will receive a certificate of completion AND a Kwik-Trip gift card.

SnoBlast 2015

Lake Arrowhead's 19th Annual SnoBlast Winter Carnival is a fun family event not to be missed. Friday night's events include paddle wheel drawings, live music by Bob Allen from Rebel One, a dinner buffet and drink specials in the lounge. On Saturday start out the day with our famous breakfast buffet and then take part in our events for the day including Snow Disc Golf*, Carnival Games for the kids, a magic show, Ice Sculpting Demo, Silent Auction, Raffle Drawings, Cornhole* and Lawn Mower Races*. End the day with our Snow Fireworks Display and Live Music by Relentless in our lounge! MENTAL HEALTH LISTENING SESSION

The Friendship Connection, Inc. and Adams County Human Services are partnering with Grassroots Empowerment Project to bring community members together to learn more about our state's mental health system and system changes.  This is a great opportunity for the community to ask questions and voice opinions about services they've received and changes they'd like to see. 

Who should attend:  Community members who use mental health services, and their family members.  People interested in addressing prevention of mental health and substance use challenges.  Persons who have a strong stake and interest in civic engagement of under-represented communities.

Adams Community Theare, Ltd. is a non-stock, non-profit organization formed in May of 2011. Members are invited to annual meeting to learn more about the organization, vote on important issues and to as questions of the board of directors. Non-members can join.
