The Women of Central Florida Spring Fashion show features stylish fashions from local boutiques modeled by beautiful, talented, and generous women in the community. These ladies will walk alongside mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers and friends, while being escorted out by Sheriff Grady Judd!
Proceeds will benefit the patients of Central Florida Speech and Hearing Center.

Businesses May Sign Up Now To Participate In
The Chamber’s summer workshop for kids titled, “Biz Kids,” is a free program in which children learn first-hand how a business runs from merchants that operate within the Community Redevelopment Agency confines. In its fourth year, more than 120 kids have participated in the program.
This year, classes run Tuesdays for six weeks in two hour increments (morning and afternoon sessions) from June 14 through July 19. Class times are 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.; or 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Classes are provided for kids entering second grade through finishing seventh grade.
26th Annual Just Say No Parade & Rally
Committee Members are making plans again for “JUST SAY NO” Week, May 8-14, 2016. THIS IS OUR 26th YEAR OF THIS GREAT EVENT!
This special week will be highlighted by Bartow’s 26th Annual March and Rally. Planned activities will begin on Wednesday, May 11,2016, at 9:30 a.m. with a parade in Downtown Bartow that ends with a rally at the Bartow High School Gymnasium.
Hearing Loss Assoc. - Lakeland Chapter Meeting
We are a support/advocacy group that works to help those who have a hearing loss. Our meetings are on the 2nd Thursday of each month, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. We often have professional speakers who discuss various hearing loss topics. Our meetings are 'looped' and 'captioned', so that all participants and visitors can understand the spoken word.

Vouchers for business classes will be on a first come-first served basis. Register early, but make sure your child can REALLY attend the class. Space is limited, so if you register for a class and your child does not show up, a child that could have taken the class will miss out! A child missing a class without a one day notification to the Chamber will not be allowed to go to future Biz Kids classes.

Speakers are Sr. Vice Commander Bill Lambert and Polk County Commissioner Ed Smith. After the service, the Post will offer a $5 a plate lunch with proceeds to benefit the local Veterans Assistance Program.
