Easter Pool Plunge

Boulder City Municipal Pool will hold its second annual event.

Youngsters will be invited to plunge into the pool in search of treasure-filled Easter eggs. Participants will be divided into age groups to gather the toys and eggs.  All must bring their own plastic bag or basket to place their prizes.

Those who cannot pass the pool's swim test must be accompanied by someone 12 or older at all times.

Crazy Spokes Family Bike Ride

The fourth annual Crazy Spokes celebrates Henderson as a Bicycle Friendly /
Bicycle Responsible / Healthy Community, within a fun educational atmosphere.
Event features two organized novice rider options.  1st option - is an educational 15-mile Guided Group Ride, experiencing Henderson’s bicycle friendly roads and trails while learning the fundamentals of distance riding.  Or 2nd option – is where you can dig out your Pink Boa or Purple Tutu, dress your family or group in throwback theme attire, put the handlebar mustache and pom-poms on your bicycle, hop on and come join a 5.5-mile
Family Fun Guided Group Festival Ride.  All riders will receive lunch at the end of their ride along with a commemorative T-shirt, while supplies last.

        $15 advance registration (adult); $20 day of event
        $10 advance registration (child); $15 day of event  (Child age:  10 – 17)

The train will feature story time and crafts during its four runs each day.  The activities are sponsored by Ruben's Wood Craft and Toys.

Additionally, there will be a scavenger hunt, egg hunt and games.  The model railroad car will be open, and the live steamers will be running and offering rides.

The story session and crafts are included in each fare, but an additional $5 donation is being asked to participate in the egg hunt.  Proceeds benefit Friends of Nevada Southern Railway, the nonprofit that supports the museum.

Easter Egg Hunt

St. Jude's Ranch for Children will hold a community event and Easter egg hunt.

There will be games, egg hunts, entertainment, a visit by the Easter bunny and food.  There will be four egg hunts, which will begin at 10:30 and be divided by age.

Children's activity wristbands are $10 and include the gg hunt, a basket, lawn games, hot dog, chips and a drink.

Women in Support of Women in Boulder City

We are a group of women who meet for fun and friendship to support each other emotionally, physically, and financially in our businesses, personal life, and organizations.  Food and wine are optional but we do meet at a great local restuarant, Milo's Cellar 538 Nevada Way.  Our group meets at 5pm until you want to go home on the 2nd monday of every month.  There is no RSVP required, no membership required and no fee.

Children of all ages are invited to the Boulder Beach Picnic Area for science activities, games about history, a singalong with live music, K-9 demonstration, live reptiles, bird watching and more.

Meet Smokey Bear and Bark Ranger "Charlotte".  

After participating in various activity stations, kids can become Junior Rangers.
