The Roadshow 2018

The Roadshow 2018 is coming to Henderson, NV on March 1, 2018! The lineup includes Christian music favorites for King & Country, with Matthew West, and Natalie Grant, along with Bethel, Zach Williams and Social Club Misfits . VIP doors open at 4PM; General Admission doors open at 5:15 PM. The show starts at 6:30 PM.  Make plans now to come out to Christian music’s most entertaining tour for the whole family!

BARK IN THE PARK

Join us at Cornerstone Park for our 15th annual Bark in the Park, which features four hours of fun events for you and your dog. View demonstrations and booths, take part in a variety of contests, and meet lots of beautiful dogs looking for good homes. All pets must be leashed and handlers must be at least 10 years old. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. 

Demonstratons by Atomic Dogs and Get Rattled – Rattlesnake training for dogs*

Academic Advantage Event

The Academic Advantage program offers students interested in a medical or dental vocation the guidance they need to follow their dreams. They will learn what it takes to get into their ideal college and how to be successful from mentors who have had the same aspirations in the healthcare ï¬Âeld. High school students, junior high students, and parents are welcome! At 9:00 a.m., a panel of medical professionals will host a presentation. Please arrive a few minutes early to get a great seat! After the presentation, explore and talk to representatives from various medical fields, volunteer organizations, and colleges that will be in attendance.

Amethyst Reiki Spiritual Healing Circle

Rock, Roll and Stroll

The Senior Center of Boulder City will present its Rock, Roll & Stroll, an event to benefit its Meals on Wheels program.

This year it will be held at BiCentennial Park

The event also will feature entertainment and food available for purchase.  Those attending also are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and picnic baskets.


Back up for inclement weather will be at the Recreation Center New Gym

Women in Support of Women in Boulder City

We are a group of women who meet for fun and friendship to support each other emotionally, physically, and financially in our businesses, personal life, and organizations.  Normally we meet the 2nd Monday of every month and we have a ‘no RSVP’ event at a local restaurant.  For March we are having a special event at The Forge: $30 prepaid by March 1st to Dawn Walker (cash or check).  Flyer link below.

Storytime Train

Nevada Southern Railroad

 

Bring the kids (regardless of age) and have a fun time riding the train, coloring, doing a craft, and listening to a children's story.  Purchase regular tickets to ride the train and join our Storytime Crew in the dining car of the train, on the regularly scheduled train runs (10AM, 11:30AM, 1PM, or 2:30PM).  We furnish the coloring pages and markers, craft materials, and the story.  Sit with your kids, have fun, take photos or videos, and watch the beautiful desert scenery from the comfort of our train.

The Boulder City "Big Clean"

Recycle, Re-purpose, Renew! Do you have any old junk that just has to go? Come get rid of all that old stuff taking up space in your home! The Blind Center of Nevada will be collecting Glasses and recycled Electronics. Street Dogz will be collecting any new or used supplies for Dogs and Cats. BC Waste Free will collect anything that can not be recycled such as: batteries, oil and paint. The Boulder City Police Department will be collecting Expired Medications. Opportunity Village collecting usable household good. Shredding will be available. Boulder City Library will collect books in good condition, DVD's and CD's (please note: no magazines, encyclopedias, textbooks or VHS tapes). 6th Annual Boulder City Beerfest!

6th Annual Boulder City Beerfest to be held at Wilbur Square Park in the heart of historic Boulder City. This is a well known location for many large special events during the year. 

The "BCBF" is a mid-sized festival planned for 2500 beer lovers and guests to enjoy selections from 30 beer tents, 8 food trucks, specialty vendors, brewing demonstrations and live music stage all on site to make this a fantastic day! 

Once again, Boulder Dam Brewing Company is the official host brewery! 

The BCBF will run from 1pm until 7pm. At the Admission Tent you'll receive a wristband and BCBF souvenir glass for unlimited samples of all the great beers available! The event is open to the public to visit the vendor tents and food trucks, but you must be at least 21 years old with the official wristband and glass to enjoy the beers

Like us on our Facebook page to keep up on the latest information for the BCBF... 

The BCBF is also a fundraiser for a very worthy organization, Operation Homefront. We hope you'll join us in our fun & fund raising efforts! 

Tickets will be available at the event untill we reach capacity. 

Children are welcome in the park during the festival but must be accompanied by their parents or guardians. Pets are also welcome, but masters must be responsible for any "natural occurrence" that might happen. Respectable behavior is required by all BCBF attendees!
