The Roadshow 2018

The Roadshow 2018 is coming to Henderson, NV on March 1, 2018! The lineup includes Christian music favorites for King & Country, with Matthew West, and Natalie Grant, along with Bethel, Zach Williams and Social Club Misfits . Bark in the Park

Join us at Cornerstone Park for our 15th annual Bark in the Park, which features four hours of fun events for you and your dog. View demonstrations and booths, take part in a variety of contests, and meet lots of beautiful dogs looking for good homes. All pets must be leashed and handlers must be at least 10 years old. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

Academic Advantage Event

The Academic Advantage program offers students interested in a medical or dental vocation the guidance they need to follow their dreams. They will learn what it takes to get into their ideal college and how to be successful from mentors who have had the same aspirations in the healthcare ï¬Âeld. High school students, junior high students, and parents are welcome! At 9:00 a.m., a panel of medical professionals will host a presentation. Please arrive a few minutes early to get a great seat! After the presentation, explore and talk to representatives from various medical fields, volunteer organizations, and colleges that will be in attendance.

Korean War Veterans Memorial Dedication Ceremony

Dedication ceremony of the first Korean War Veterans Memorial at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The Memorial will feature a 7,220 lb monument, resting benches, brickwork and walkway. The ceremony will include Taps, Color Guard, special guest speaker Kim Wan Joong, Counsel General of the Republic of Korea. The featured portion of the ceremony will be the, “Reading Names of the 37 Service Members from the State of Nevada who paid the Ultimate Price for their Country,” and the laying of the Memorial Wreath on the Memorial Monument. KWVA Commander Johnson will officiate over the ceremony. The ceremony will be held outdoors with seating for 300 guests, rain or shine, and restrooms are nearby. Handicap parking is available and wheelchair and handicap seating assistance is also available.

Red Mountain Choir Concert

Red Mountain concert to benefit Emergency Aid

Red Mountain Choir will present a benefit concert March 16 and 17 to help Emergency Aid of Boulder City. “Sunrise, Sunset” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. at the Elaine K. Smith Center, 700 Wyoming St.

Tickets are $10 for adults; students and children will be admitted for free. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Boulder City Chamber of Commerce, 465 Nevada Way, or at the door.

All proceeds will be donated to Emergency Aid.

Storytime Train

Nevada Southern Railroad

 

Bring the kids (regardless of age) and have a fun time riding the train, coloring, doing a craft, and listening to a children's story.  Purchase regular tickets to ride the train and join our Storytime Crew in the dining car of the train, on the regularly scheduled train runs (10AM, 11:30AM, 1PM, or 2:30PM).  We furnish the coloring pages and markers, craft materials, and the story.  Sit with your kids, have fun, take photos or videos, and watch the beautiful desert scenery from the comfort of our train.

6th Annual Boulder City Beerfest!

6th Annual Boulder City Beerfest to be held at Wilbur Square Park in the heart of historic Boulder City. This is a well known location for many large special events during the year. 

The "BCBF" is a mid-sized festival planned for 2500 beer lovers and guests to enjoy selections from 30 beer tents, 8 food trucks, specialty vendors, brewing demonstrations and live music stage all on site to make this a fantastic day! 

Once again, Boulder Dam Brewing Company is the official host brewery! 

The BCBF will run from 1pm until 7pm. At the Admission Tent you'll receive a wristband and BCBF souvenir glass for unlimited samples of all the great beers available! The event is open to the public to visit the vendor tents and food trucks, but you must be at least 21 years old with the official wristband and glass to enjoy the beers

Like us on our Facebook page to keep up on the latest information for the BCBF... 

The BCBF is also a fundraiser for a very worthy organization, Operation Homefront. We hope you'll join us in our fun & fund raising efforts! 

Tickets will be available at the event untill we reach capacity. 

Children are welcome in the park during the festival but must be accompanied by their parents or guardians. Pets are also welcome, but masters must be responsible for any "natural occurrence" that might happen. Respectable behavior is required by all BCBF attendees!
