Sponsored by the Nevada State Veterans Home and the Alzheimer's Association to provide education to increase awareness of and knowledge about Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia.

Classes will be held on the 1st Thursday of each month in the chapel.

Historic Preservation Day

You're invited on Tours for Boulder City's Historic Preservation Day! Celebrating the City's History with the Los Angeles Dept. of Water & Power. Did you know that the LADWP owns the historic Six Companies Lodge overlooking Lake Mead? This beautiful building isn't open to the public, but now is your chance to get a tour! Come tour and learn about the original Los Angeles Dept. of Water & Power building downtown with their staff and the Boulder City Historic Preservation Committee, and than catch a ride to tour the lodge. There will be speakers at lunch, information about the new nomination of the Bullock Field Historic District, a survey to seek community input on historic preservation, and more. 

9:00 am registration / tours start at 10:00 am

Women in Support of Women in Boulder City

We are a group of women who meet for fun and friendship to support each other emotionally, physically, and financially in our businesses, personal life, and organizations. Food and wine are optional and we meet at a great local restaurant in Boulder City, Milo's Cellar. Our group meets at 5pm until you want to go home on the 2nd Monday of every month. There is no RSVP required, no membership required and no fee.

BC Republican Women's Meeting

We meet for lunch in the Banquet Room at the Railroad Pass Hotel and Casino.

May's program will include the two Republican primary candidates for Nevada Attorney General.
  


Seating is limited and a reservation is required by calling or sending an email by noon on
May 10th. The cost of the luncheon is $21 which includes tax and tip.

Storytime Train

Nevada Southern Railroad

 

Bring the kids (regardless of age) and have a fun time riding the train, coloring, doing a craft, and listening to a children's story.  Purchase regular tickets to ride the train and join our Storytime Crew in the dining car of the train, on the regularly scheduled train runs (10AM, 11:30AM, 1PM, or 2:30PM).  We furnish the coloring pages and markers, craft materials, and the story.  Sit with your kids, have fun, take photos or videos, and watch the beautiful desert scenery from the comfort of our train.
