High School Baseball/Softball- HOME
The Deadwood Saloon is the Mystery Dinner theme this year hosted by the Battle Mountain HS LYT Team and the Frontier Community Coalition
Hello everyone! The Longhorn Youth Team here at Battle Mountain High School will be putting on a Murder Mystery Dinner! For those of you who haven’t been to a Murder Mystery dinner before, its a dinner theater, where the audience and cast member interact with each other to solve the murder. There is also opportunities to be extra involved and be part of the cast! The dinner will be a multi course meal consisting of: Ribs, beans, salad, cornbread and dessert!Through the dinner the crowd will gather clues that are provided throughout the plot to help solve the identity and motive of the “murderer”!
The theme this year is Deadwood Saloon! So come in your Western Attire, and please join us for a night of fun and mystery! There will also be a real Deadwood Saloon serving sarsaparilla! We will also be holding a raffle with exciting prizes, which you do not need to be present to win. We hope to see you there for this fun and exciting event!
The Longhorn Youth Team is a club at the high school who strives to make our school a better place. So far this year they have helped with the Domestic Violence walk, participated in the parade of lights, put on a “kindness week” at the high school and brought in a Ted Talk speaker to speak about perseverance, volunteered at the Crab Feed, and have also presented a multi-media presentation at the high school. The funds raised will be used to bring even more events to the schools, and also scholarship money!
