Great Gatsby Halloween Gala~Cherokee Castle
Great Gatsby 1920's Halloween Gala
“In his blue gardens men and girls came and went like moths among the whisperings and the champagne and the stars.
The Great Gatsby,~F. Scott Fitzgerald
Celebrate in elegant style...just 80 golden chairs, and just minutes from home....
It is 1926, and the magnificent castle at Cherokee Ranch has just been completed. You are one of the elite movers and shakers, invited to the stellar gala, but it's prohibition. The liquor is hidden in a cave, and is brought up by burros. Your host insists that you dress to impress a la Erte Vogue from the 1920's or 30's (Gangsters, Flappers, Leonardo Di Caprio and Daisys... The table is set, the candles are lit, and one by one guests float in like gilded ghosts from a bygone era. Let the gala commence, and although a raid is a remote possibility, the party must go on. Are you ready?
