ArtHaus in Decorah, Iowa seeks artists ages 18-25 to submit artwork to the 2016 Emerging Artists Exhibition. The exhibition runs from April 1-May 13, 2016 and is open to residents and students of the Driftless region of northeast Iowa, southeast Minnesota, and southwest Wisconsin living within 150 mile radius of Decorah. Deadline for submission is Friday, March 11, 2016.

9th Annual Chili Cook-off at the Winery

The 30th annual Winneshiek Pheasants Forever banquet will feature a dinner, prizes and silent and live auctions.

Empty Bowls is back! The popular meal of locally donated soup and bread. For a $20 donation, attendees get to enjoy a simple meal and select and take home one of the many beautiful, handcrafted bowls made by area potters. Earth Day Open House

Appliances, electronics, and household hazardous waste. The household hazardous waste collection is intended for poisons, pesticides, and dangerous chemicals.
The will be a recycling fee of $10 per unit for regulated appliances and $20 for tube type TVs and computer monitors. All other appliances and electronics will be accepted at no charge.
