Beginners Guide to Couples Dancing

Beginners guide to Couples Dancing with George Powers. George will teach the mechanics and art of how to lead and follow. Three Thursdays starting Dec. 1st from 7 to 8:30 pm.

Just in time for the holiday party season! Grab your dance partner and join George Powers for this fun class exploring the art of partner dancing. This is not a ballroom dance class, per se, but a prelude or accomplaniment to those classess, as there will be complete emphasis on techniques of lead and follow versus choreographed dance moves. The course is sequential, so no drop-ins; please commit to all 3 classes. (12/1, 12/8, 12/15) No previous dance experience is required and footwear should mirror what you would wear out dancing. Classes are free, but donations to help fund MCRC are gratefully accepted. Please RSVP by calling MCRC at 836-0446.
