Intro to Pine Needle Basket making

Join Michelle Haselton of Lakes Basin Creations for this fun, step by step workshop. Learn all the basic techniques and have a completed basket to take home - a gift to a loved one or yourself in time for Valentine's Day. Pine needle basket making is a relaxing way to connect with nature and express your creativity. No experience is required. All supplies are included ($25 value). Beginning Waltz

This two evening class will focus soley on the waltz. Taught by Julie Lewis and assisted by George Powers. Consistency and practice are key for learning, so this class is desgined to help students retain the lessons and advance each evening. By the end of the class students will know how to waltz! Julie is planning an evening dance soiree in the spring, so this is a great opportunity to learn to dance before that special event. Cost is $35/couple. Don't have a dance partner? Call us and we'll try to pair you up. Pre-registration is required. 

Two session waltz class for $35 per couple.

Speakers Bureau: Genealogy with Doris Housel

Doris Housel is the Family History Consultant at the Family History Library, located at the LDS church in Portola. She will share her passion for genealogy, as well as information on where and how people can look up their own family history. This event is free, though a $5+ suggested donation is welcome to help fund MCRC.
